Telephone not working today, but finally just fixed. When you live where we do it is always a challenge. Saturday night the electric was out until Sunday night. Had to hustle to keep the food from spoiling, but thankfully we have plenty of snow banks.
When we have hurricane type wind it has a tendency to knock the utilities out, sometimes for a few hours - sometimes days. You learn to adjust and roll with the unexpected surprise and thankful when the utility is restored. The high wind also cleans out the trees and removes the weak ones, leaving an on going supply of fire wood or lumber when I get the wood mill out next spring.
