Would it be cruel to tell you we’re in the middle 60s? And in shirt sleeves… This is highly unusual for December in Atlanta – even though we’re in the Deep South…
You would have to enlarge that photo of he thermometer to see that it is a nice cozy 61 degrees inside. Outside is -1 degree. In Jan. and Feb. it will get colder and last longer. This should only last a few days. Boots squeak on the deck when I went out to feed the grateful birds. 6" of HEAVY snow over night on top of the two feet we got yesterday. I can see more coming in the distance. The rest of the week looks good though.
Yes, its cold enough, but actually it is not bad outside when the wind doesn't blow. That is terrific that we are both getting the moisture we so badly need. Rainy day, stay inside and watch a movie or read a book. 12' more snow predicted for us so that is what I plan to do...
I bought one of those dear thermometers for Erika's kiddoes--probably the most useful gift I ever got for them. No arguements about what to wear each day--the little gal shows them what is needed.
They are great and are sold under the weather channel logo. I saw the two of them - one a boy and one a girl, and bought the boy. We called him Jack so when Carol says from the other side of the room what is Jack wearing I tell her. It is -2 right now and the weather station is on the front wall next to my chair. Personally I think Jack is a wimp, puts on heavy clothes when I'm in a sweatshirt but then again, he was trained at the weather channel...

Is it cold enough for you? It's been raining steadily for the past three days. We can really use all the rain we can get.
