Colorado Wildfires

Woke up this morning to the smell of smoke.  There are presently 5 active wildfires burning in Colorado with the High Park Fire being the worst.  It has destroyed about 180 homes or buildings and 58000 + acres so far. The smoke we smell could be from NM or from a substantial wildfire to the west of us in the San Juan mountains.
It is so dry here that the trees out back give an audible sigh when the dogs lift their legs on them.  Humidity is single or barely double digit.  Send us some RAIN please.

If you  want to follow the wildfires in Colorado you can do so by going to: http://www.inciweb.org/state/6/

Everything looks green yet but when you walk on the grass it crunches and is dry and the weather forecast doesn't have any rain in the near future.  The western USA has become a real tinderbox.  The smell of smoke this morning is just a reminder of how volatile the west really is.

We have been praying, and will continue to do so, that the wildfires will soon be out....that God will graciously send a good soaking rain....and most of all, you will not see any near you. We have been very concerned, but will continue to intercede.
Love you both,
