Happy Anniversary Sarah

Today is Sarah's fourth anniversary.  She was taken out of a very bad situation in Missouri where her owner was going to shoot her and her sister Missy. She was then transported to Denver and then finally to Buena Vista where we promptly adopted her. Some things are just meant to be and adopting Sarah into our family is one of those things.

She was apparently an outside girl and probably used for back yard breeding and had been mistreated as she was afraid of just about everything but patience and tons of love have given her a happy life. If anyone came to visit she used to run and hide with her tail between her legs.  Lots of TLC have brought her past her prior fears and she is an ideal girl with a bad past well behind her.  Her prior parents really missed the boat with her as she is one of the most gentle and loving girls I have ever known.  What a blessing she has been to our home and family.  It is easy to see that she has been and continues to be spoiled rotten.  We can't imagine life without Sarah and while her first part of life may have been rough the rest of her life has been ideal. She went from potential disaster to the lap of luxury.    Happy Anniversary Sarah!!!
