New Helper

Carol has wanted to help  me for years with the cutting of firewood. I had her limb down trees last year with an ax but it was just to hard for her. I was in picking up a tractor part this morning and happened to walk by a chain saw display. There was a very light Echo limber with a 12' blade that she said fit her hands perfectly. The price was right and since it was a good fit I think I have a new tree limber.

YES! she will love it! my husband bought a 12" Homelite for me in 1978, and i still have it. limbing and cutting up firewood became my passion. i hope the Echo lasts as well for her as my little red buzzer did for me. makes lots of memories...

Carol was out there this morning while I was cooking cowboy breakfast on the outside wood stove. We had two tree tops broken off from that last heavy snow storm and she went out to cut them up. She was cutting away and I'd hear a Yooo Hoo every couple minutes. I looked up and she was holding the saw above her head in the champion pose. I think it is safe to say she loves it. Fortunately for her we have a bunch of trees down from this winters storms....

You have to admit that a chain saw, albeit small, is a much easier and efficient to use than an ax. Good for Carol! Yooo Hoo!
