If you ...Bruce, Turn your flash off on your camera. If you don't find a way to turn it off, just set it on the landscape mode. That should force the flash not to fire. Then stabilize the camera, ideally on a tripod. If you don't have one, just hold the camera against a table, floor or wall so it does not move. Then try taking the shot. It should be able to work. Don't point the camera with the window in the picture. That will force the rest of the picture to be too dark.
