Go Seminoles!

Today is the last regular season game for the Florida State Seminoles and we hope that since we have on our shirts in support, it will give them the boost they need to win the game. They are playing arch rivals Florida Gators at the Gators stadium....aaargh! Well, here's hopin'!

We had a quiet thanksgiving, just the two of us. Our family is all back East and Todd, Bruce's son, and Cari are in Italy! I made a turkey, dressing, cranberry relish, brussel sprouts and yams with pumpkin pie for dessert. It was yummy...and we have so much to be thankful for!

Yesterday Bruce went down the road Thursday afternoon and got our Christmas tree. We get them out of the ditches off our dirt roads and they cost zippo. Love the price!

When we went down to the Post Office a few days ago we had two CD's waiting for us. They are done by Robert Soto, a Lipan Apache and Christian pastor from McAllen, Texas. We have made his acquaintance via Facebook.

This and bagpipes are my favorite types of music!
If you are interested in learning more about Robert or ordering his CD's, go to www.sontree.org.

So that is about all for this week. No more snow yet but some in the forecast. As always, we'll see what happens. The best way to forecast the weather, in our opinion, is to look out the window!
