Haircuts - by Bruce

You have to really want a haircut to sit out on the deck when the temperature is only 46 degrees. But the time had come and those hairs needed to be trimmed and it just so happened that the barber was in after church service. So haircut time it was. Pretty hard to get a nice even haircut when you have the uncontrollable shivers. Got the haircut +though and spent the rest of the day shortening the straps on my ball caps.

Starting to get really concerned over Junior not showing up yet this year. That is a really bad indication. Especially since his mom didn't show up either and they have been faithful for 12+ years. I am starting to fear the worst. He has been such a good faithful friend over the years that I will miss him and his mom.

I will be glad when we get our TV back and the political commercials will be gone. I personally think that we have already endured enough. Between my inbox being flooded with messages on how bad the other candidate is and why I should vote one way or the other, not to mention all the phone calls from both parties and candidates, I'm about ready to scream. I'm sure it is hard on them too, but please give me a break.

It is a wonder we don't have more snow than we do. Last year this time we had accumulated over 48" total; and this year only 2", and that has melted off. To cold for a haircut at the deck barber shop, but not warm enough for short sleeves. Crazy weather here in the mountains.
Pretty dull life when the only things I can write about are a haircut and complaints about all the political adds. But not much going on with us thanks to the unusual weather we are having. Maybe next time I'll have more to report on. I'm writing this on my new lap top and what a challenge. Toshiba has moved all the keys around and I'm back to hunt and peck. Not to mention the super sensitive touch pad. Sometimes I can wave my finger over it and everything changes, and then other times I have to bang away at it to make it work. Well, bye for now, live life, love life and stay safe and with the election drawing near, stay sane...

Oh Bruce, I've been meaning to ask you if you seen "Junior" this year. I hope he makes a surprise visit to you soon!

We haven't seen Junior yet. I can tell you if he doesn't show after 12 years straight I will suspect the worse and if it is possible to miss a deer - I will truly miss him. He is such a unique and lovable guy....

Hey, I thought I was supposed to get an a message in my in-box when you post and I did'nt. I just happened by here to check in on you two today and I find that you posted last Sunday. Do I need to click ... something...somewhere else... to get the notifications sent to me?
OK. I am not accepting this news about Junior and mom. It is a different year in terms of weather; maybe they are lingering somewhere..a little longer... or something. Could you go look for them? (Carol sent me a video of Junior. It was so tender.) Now, let's think: What are the odds that something would have happened to both of them? It's still warm enough to go for a bit of a hike, isn't it? Just thinking, maybe one of them maybe got stuck or trapped or fell or something... and the other one just doesn't want to leave. Is'nt that possible?
