Aspen budding

This has been an unusual week weather-wise.  It started out springtime---warm and shirt-sleeve weather.  Then we got rain Thursday and it was damp and cool both yesterday and today so we have had a fire in the woodstove in the morning.  That is why we try to  keep our woodshed full!

This was a teeny tiny tree when we first moved here and you can see that the leaves are starting to pop out.  A day or two of sunshine will help.  The whole area is "greening up" and it sure is nice.

The springs along the driveway have pretty much stopped running but this one is over on our other lot.  Bruce takes his sluice box down and gets it all situated and hopes that maybe some little flakes of gold will show up.  He did have a few flakes in the sluice box when he had it at the spring that I posted a week or two ago.

The hummingbirds have been flying into our windows of late...something that they haven't done before.  I revived one but the darned camera wouldn't work.  Bruce revived this little guy.  They are soooooooooooo light and sooooooooooo thankful! You can see it is really dark in the background but it was daylight---we ordered a new digital camera from Walmart on line and are hopeful that it will be here soon.

I am getting ready to head to Florida on Wednesday to visit with our Sasha, her husband Rick and Jonathan and Tiff. I also hope to meet a few of the gals that I have met at on line church and to attend the "new" facility in which Northland, A Church Distributed, meets.  Of course we will probably hit the beach and do some shopping.  I'm not much of a shopper but when I have choices other than a Walmart, it is nice to take advantage!

Happy Memorial Day to all---let's remember what that "holiday" is all about. :)+

After coming to a decision exactly what you desire, now it's time to see a company over the internet. Most of the online businesses offer apparel in regular sizes in addition to option of getting a dress personalized.
, Howdy! Do you use Twitter? I'd like to follow you if that would be ok. I'm undoubtedly enjoying your blog and look forward to new updates.
