Saturday before Labor Day

Here we are in Buena Vista, Colorado camping. Bruce spends most of his morning down at the river, digging holes and then panning out that dirt to find gold---and he does! It is beautiful here. If you click on this picture to enlarge it you can see that the tree on the right is already starting to turn color.

Bruce's birthday is next Friday but he got this chair early. I had it sent here to our friends, Ken and Jeannie, who are here from TX. I wanted him to have it early as this antigravity chair is supposed to be really comfy---and it is! After all of that bending over and shoveling, Bruce deserves something better than that $10 chair he has been sitting in!

Here are some dogs who love camping. Sarah is on the left, Bozwell on the right.

And then there is Miss Gypsy. She prefers the floor---maybe it is cooler there!
