Saturday again!

It continually amazes me how quickly the days fly by....where is this year going??? Here it is fall (at least that's what the calendar says!) already.

Sarah found this nice spot in which to lay---surrounded by aspen leaves and the stone wall. The pole that is in front of her holds up the shelf she is lying under!

This is the gate that goes down the boardwalk outside the back door. The post on the left where Bruce is standing gets loose so he decided to put an arch over the boardwalk to stabilize it. So far, so good. He had just started staining it when I took this picture.

So on Tuesday Bruce says, "It's supposed to snow tonight so let's take a walk up in the woods"...so we did. Here he is with our 3 best friends surrounded by the golden aspen leaves. So pretty......

and smelled so good!
And that walk was just in time because here is what we woke up to Wednesday morning.....

and it continued on through the day and into the night.

But here is what it looked like on Thursday........

in the woods. We get very little rain in the mountains so we don't complain about snow as it is our major source of moisture.

We were able to walk down the road Thursday as our trusty snow removal person came at 1:30 a.m.---our 3-dog alarm let us know he was doing the job. This is the meadow we walk down to each morning. The trees on the top are all snowy.

And this is looking south towards the Big Lake. That is Harrison Peak in the background.

Bruce went out to do some shoveling!

He got lost somewhere there!!

We didn't get to see all of the Florida State game and wish we had since they pulled off a win. Go Bobby and the team!

Have a great week, y'all and be sure to count your many blessings.

:)+
