Day Two Sledding

Woke up to 3 degrees today and had to wait until it warmed up to 17 to go sledding.  Still so cold it froze the tears in my eyes.  Spend over an hour outside shoveling snow BACK onto the drive so we would have enough snow on top of the gravel to sled.  Then warm up inside and head back out to make some runs down the driveway.
That is mostly the sum total of our day today - grooming the sled run, warming up and then zooming down the driveway to then have to make that long walk back up again.  The cold just takes my breath away so 2-4 runs down is about all I can handle. Time for a nice warm cup of tea and settle in and relax.  Did I mention that even with all the pre work involved it is a ton of fun...

If there are typing errors in here it is because my fingers are still numb from the cold.  Had to take my gloves off to take the photos of Carol.

It sure is great. A guy in his 70's, zooming down the 100 yard driveway trying to put on the brakes just before he goes off the edge of the road and on down the mountain. Thanks, Sakoieta'
