We have been given a way of life that allows us to live at peace with each other if we so choose. To do that we need insight and careful judgment. People too often judge by appearances and that can lead to misunderstandings. So much is hidden from ordinary view that it takes time to know something or someone well enough to say anything at all. Unless we have known someone’s greatest efforts at living as well as their weakest moments we cannot really know them as a person. Our senses and our sight cannot tell us everything. Only acceptance, compassion, understanding and patience will eventually show us the truth.
