Yesterday the ground was totally bare and today we have 6" of wet snow and the prediction is it will continue to snow through tonight. We certainly need the moisture and these storms are coming at a perfect pace. One storm drops a few inches of wet snow and when that melts in good we get another storm. This time of year the weather fluctuates radically and we can get snow up until June. 200" even year to date... Only 64" below our average.
Sure am glad that I took some parts to our snow thrower in for repair. While this is not unexpected it is not a surprise either. Sitting on the deck in shirt sleeves yesterday sharing a beer together and today it is 20 degrees and snow.. Springtime in the mountains.
