Dog Boots

With almost everything on a 30-45 degree slope the dogs with their smooth pads (house dogs ya know) tend to have their back feet slip out when the snow gets packed down. We bought them boots with rubber grips on the bottom through Amazon and distributed by Ruffwear Grip Trex, all terrain, that should help them keep their footing better. We only bought them for their back feet as they don't need them for their front feet. A set of two are $37.00 each but if they keep their paws from slipping it will be worth in in reduced vet and Rx costs.
Since they also slip on the carpet inside they have kept them from falling or re-injuring themselves so far by providing increased traction.

Up date on the boots...they work just like advertised and they have given the dogs a sense of confidence when walking on slippery surfaces....
