Light snow last evening reveals fresh bobcat tracks coming up our driveway and around our house to the other side. Bobcat tracks are easy to identify as they have small dainty toes and pad. We could fit two bobcat tracks into one coyote track. This is probably our resident bobcat that must have survived the wildfire which makes us happy. The wildfire destroyed everything around our home and I'm sure many animals were cremated because they could not move fast enough to get out of the way. It is nice to see these tracks as the bobcat family that has been around our area for many years somehow survived the ravages of the wild fire. They must have been terrified but thankfully survived.
