Rushing Spring Water:

We have many springs that run real hard this time of year. These photos are just one spring but the entire side of the mountain has springs that run like this. This one runs down the mountain through a culvert I put under the driveway and then down to the ditch along the road. Then it is suppose to run down the ditch to another culvert and on down the mountain. The road crew used the area where the culvert is to turn around and so now it runs across the road and places I don't know where. 

We have several small springs that are running in the driveway and next to the driveway so our driveway is a major sheet flow down to the road. I will have a lot of driveway repair to work on once this stops running which can take from 2 - 4 weeks. Just part of life in the mountains. I have followed the spring up the mountain where it is on another persons land and it just comes up from underground and out of the side of the mountain. Not much can be done except deal with it and repair the damage after it stops.
