Calming Influence

 We have a heavy wet rain storm as I write this. Over the years the sound of rain on our metal roof and the thunder has frightened some of our dogs and Lucy is no exception. We have tried the thunder shirt for them and it does not work that well. 

What we have found that works is to turn on classical music which we have on our television package. I turned it on for Lucy and she calmed right down and is now on her bed resting. If your fur family member gets upset during thunder storms you might try classical music to see if it helps. It has worked on all our fur family over the years. It seems to work on humans too.
