The recent change of weather provided an opportunity to get some outdoor work done. The end of our property had a jumble of blown over trees that made accessing other trees out of the question. I took the bow saw and ax down this morning and cut up the trees where they could be pulled down by hand. The area is open again and when I'm able I will haul the trees off to the burn site. Not bad for an 80 year old guy being able to manhandle these trees. They are right at the top of the ditch where they can be pushed over and loaded up for a haul off.
I will now be able to access the leaners and other down trees.
