Hidden Gems:

I am a German Shepherd fan and always will be but because German Shepherd is my dog of choice doesn't mean I won't consider other breeds. I'm so happy that I'm this way because if I only wanted German Shepherds we would not have Klaus. While over the years we have had mostly German Shepherds we do not exclude other breeds or mixes. Klaus impressed me from the start even at the shelter where other dogs were all barking and he just stood with me on leash as calm as can be.

As we learn more about him in the 7 weeks we have had him we have come to realize that he simply does not have any faults. He is about the most perfect boy any family could want. I have said before I can't imagine my life without dogs but being more specific I can't imagine my life had we not adopted Klaus. Black dogs are the least popular but adopters should not consider looks but temperament. 

German Shepherds are my preference but other breeds or mixes are just as welcome in our home. Lucy actually chose Klaus and her judgement is spot on. Those two are beyond being bonded, they are totally in love with each other...Klaus is a valuable family member and we love him as much or more than any fur family member we have had.
