We adopted Taylor when he was very senior and had no idea he only had 6 weeks to live. We couldn't see him spending his last time in the shelter. His back legs were very weak and we knew he could not get up and down the two steps that led to the back yard so we took out a window and put a door in its place. It took several weeks to get it installed but it worked for Taylor while he was with us. We felt that it was only right that we put a placard on the door in Taylors honor. But for him there would be no door there. RIP Taylor, you may be in doggy heaven now but you will remain in our hearts forever...
