Something to Think About;

All the photos show that Mary rode on a donkey from  Nazareth to Bethlehem. The distance in a straight line is 70 miles but by foot on the roads it was probably closer to 100 miles. No where in the Bible story does it say Mary rode on a donkey. It is equally a probability that she walked, in her ninth month of pregnancy, with the Lord. Mary was one tough woman for sure. 

I can only imagine Mary and Joseph's disappointment when they finally arrived at their destination only to find that there were no rooms available and they would have to walk further to a manger on down the road where she would give birth to our Lord Jesus and lay Him in a crib of straw that the animals normally ate from. Mary is known and revered as the mother of Jesus but she should also be known for her toughness. 

I don't know any other women who could do what she did in our day and age.
