I have been watching they are getting hammered. up to 6' of snow. In our 26 years there we experienced quite a few storms that dumped from 3' to 6' of snow storms. There is only a few people who are still there who have dealt with this type of snow. This will be a real test for the recent residents.
I am surprised you burn your leaves. We use them for veggie garden mulch and on our compost pile. Burning leaves is forbidden where we live due to pollution and wildfires. We are in a very serious drought right now. - sg

We burn the leaves in a steel barrel.
