Shortbread:

 

My first experience with short bread was when I was 12/13 years old. I had a paper route and one of my customers was from Sweden and around Christmas one year she gave me a plate of her shortbread. The first time I ate a piece of her shortbread I was hooked. She told me that the recipe came with her from Sweden and she would not reveal it and when she died she would take it with her. I would never taste anything like that again and I have tried dozens of shortbreads - but none like the shortbread  she gave me. 

Oh, what I would give to have that family recipe.. That shortbread recipe would be worth its weight in gold. That recipe would be a career maker.
