Snow:

 The average snowfall here is 4" per year. The average snowfall in S. Colorado where we moved from was 264" per year. I do not miss having to move all that snow from our property to just be able to  move around but there are aspects I do miss.  Like going outside to clear the deck off and the silence. It would be absolute and complete silence. Or watching the birds line up on the railing waiting for me to shovel to their feeders. Or making tracks in the fresh snow and being the first one that made the tracks. Or going down the road on snowshoes and seeing the animal tracks.  Or clearing snow early in the morning and have the sun come out and the snow would be like millions of sparkly diamonds and the air would be crisp and clean. So beautiful that I would just stand there in awe over the pure raw beauty. In the twenty six years we lived there I never became tired or bored by those aspects. The heavy wet snow of 2-5/6 feet at a time I do not miss nor the slush or mud when it melted.
