While I was looking for football games this morning I found a channel on DISH TV that might come in handy tonight as people will be shooting off guns and fireworks as the year changes. It is designed to relax dogs with visual and soothing sounds It is DOGTV and it is channel 285. Our dogs go nuts during loud noises like there will be tonight.
Not much has helped our fur family but we will turn the volume up and see if this will help them tonight as all the nuts and drunks show off with loud gun shots and fireworks. We received an emergency alert yesterday that with the wind and super dry conditions that outdoor fires of any kind are prohibited.
That won't stop the crazy people who will have their fireworks tonight. I wish they would just stop and think about all the animals that this affects, not to mention our vets who suffer from ptsd.

CBDs always helped our dogs - good luck! some of our friends leave town with their pooches due to the upset!
We use CBD too and that helps a lot. Last year the gunfire went non stop from 8:00 until 2;00 am and our dogs went nuts even with the CBD. THE GOOD NEWS is last night was only for a few minutes and the dogs could tolerate it. Apparently the emergency notification regarding fire danger actually was adhered to. I now feel bad for my judgement of those who in the past have used fireworks for hours on end.
