Fall Colors - By Bruce

Yesterday we took a ride out to a place where we scattered a friends ashes to visit for just a little while. Of course there was no trace of his ashes but we knew where he was spread to enjoy eternity and we thought we would share the view from there. Click on any of the photo's to enlarge them. RIP Jack.

On the way home we decided to take some photo's of the change of color in our neighborhood. It is always best to take these photo's when the opportunity presents itself as rain is forecast today and all these beautiful leaves could end up on the ground. Often this time of year we get hail and rain mixed together and that will strip the trees instantly.

The color is really great but the smell in the air, the crispness, and the cooler temperatures all add to the enjoyment of fall. Then to hear elk bugling all around our house makes fall a very special time in the mountains.
