Elk are still in the high country -by Bruce

As I was looking out the side window this morning, a herd of elk with two really big bulls in it and a couple small bulls. The big bulls locked antlers and had a pushing contest but I was unable to get a photo of that scuffle. The biggest of the two started the scuffle by poking the other bull in the rump with his enormous antlers. I hope if you click on these two photos they will enlarge for you.

Carol will try to post the bear photos since my posting looks okay but apparently no one else can see the two bear photos. They are great and I hope she can figure out how to get them posted.
