Woke up to zero degrees this morning with a 20 mph wind. 6" of fresh snow and 52 degrees inside the house. First priority was to get some firewood in where we could get the wood stove going again. It was so cold that the boards on the deck shrunk and the snow shovel would hit the screw heads sticking up. Makes for hard shoveling.
