No where does the saying 'if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change' apply more than in the mountains. Below is a photo taken today of some pretty neat ice cycles hanging off our roof after 8" of fresh snow yesterday and today.
A couple days ago we were in sweat shirt and jeans sitting on the deck enjoying the 50's degree weather. Washing the mud off the Jeep with only a sweatshirt. Tomorrow they have forecast 50 degree weather again. 
Living at 9,750' when the weather is nice you spend time outside and enjoy life and the warm temperatures. When it is cold, snow, and windy you spend time inside doing a blog like I am today.
