Un Oh. It looks like Mr. pack rat has met his match. I want to see the picture of a dead rat within 24 hrs.

What a nasty little fellow....and your nastursiums were so pretty. You don't even have Carol to boo hoo on her shoulder.
Hope she is having a nice time with the family.....when does she come home? I think you might have to sit out tonight (kinda out of sight and well covered from the cold) and wait for Mr. Rat. Have your gun loaded. He sure is determined, but you are too, huh?
That's right.....you'll have metal snap traps. How does he avoid them?
Be strong, be brave!
Thinking of you, Bill & Lois

After you catch them dead or alive skin them and put up the skins in a conspicuous place as to warn all others of their fate. Great white hunter will get you too!

Never tried soap, what kind do you use? They seem to like peanut butter but for some reason would not go into the live traps. I don't know how they were triggering them from outside but that is what they did. They are pretty smart and while I hate to use a snap trap, they need to go. They have destroyed a lot around here. Eat the hoses to the BBQ grill, chewed the hose's and belts off the Toyota truck. Chewed on the side of the house, they are insatiable chewers.
