Simple Life - In Our Hearts - By Sakoieta'

Society is oft times very humorous to watch. I was studying our Longhouse structures yesterday and realized that there were no areas where massive amounts of excess things could be stored, other than food or things of necessity. I realized that human beings are not so complicated as today’s conditions make them out to be. The desire to live simply and happily is in most of our hearts. If we crave things so much then why do we so easily discard them. Indians back then never had garage sales and had no junk shops to sell off their castoff items. They lived simple and uncluttered lives with time to think, plan, pray, and relate to those around them in ways that kept relationships the main focal point of living a good life.
