Above is the bad, we went snowshoeing and the day after our snowshoe tracks were filled in with soot and ash from the wildfire. The soot and ash just seems never ending sometimes.
Looks like we are going to have a few days of cold weather. We are predicted to have sub-zero temperatures for the next few nights and the high today is predicted to be 12 degrees (F). Yup, winter is here for sure now.... What tree boring insects that weren't cooked in the wildfire will be frozen with these frigid temperatures, which is good as it will save some still alive trees.
