I/Carol drove to Alamosa today. Lots of wind and drifting. On the way home I took these two pictures. This is the sign at the corner of the main road in Forbes Park and our road. The bottom picture is looking up the road from the corner. The house belongs to someone we do not know. Note all the burned trees on the mountainside behind their home. It is another mile up the road to our house.

What do you use to get around there, snow tires, chains?
Tom: We have snow tires and our vehicles are 4WD so that gets us around.
