Just In Time
I picked enough rhubarb for a pie on Friday and on Saturday we had a powerful hail storm. It ruined the remaining rhubarb plants and left the ground littered with aspen leaves and pine needles. Doesn't appear we will have any rhubarb pies again this year.

You could have cut and cooked it soon as the hail stopped. Couldn't you? A shame when we lose food. Has happened with me too.
