June ?????

 Not sure this is summer or not. When we woke up this morning early it was 42 degrees and now at noon it is all the way up to 44 degrees. It is the end of June and the forecast doesn't have it higher in the next week than 52 degrees and rain is forecast for every day. We will be into the first week of July and the temperatures are going to be in the 40's or very low 50's for the week. 

We had taken the fence around the wood stove down and stored it away but had to bring it out and re-install it to warm up the house. When the fence was brought up to the house a piece must have broken off and that effected the ability to use the gate. Lucy brought the piece over and laid it down at my feet and I was able to glue it back together. Without that little broken piece of plastic the fence would not have worked. What a smart girl and great helper she is. 

Hoping we get a good day where I can finally clean the chimney and wood stove. We have been so focused on getting ready for next winter we have put off the cleaning. I think we will just leave the gate/fence up as we will be into July before the temp's will probably warm up. Weird weather!!!!
