This has been a difficult year for many people and for some not so difficult. These two photos seem to sum up the year for me. The top one is fake fire and the bottom one is truly emanating heat. 2022 was the year that the woke/cancel culture people came out in full force and the socialists/communists came out of the shadows. For the vast majority of people who did not think that either would ever gain a foothold in our country they are somewhat in shock. Previously they were like the fake fire - just for show but with the aid of government they are now taken more seriously and probably won't go away. They seem to be taking over the democratic party and it is yet to be determined whether they can get enough support to do so completely. If not, there will be a third party for sure. Not to leave the republican party out as they have a sufficient amount of members who like the top photo look real but are fake.
It will be interesting to see if the people will allow this to happen or not but either way our lives will be changed forever. Every aspect of our lives could be impacted. The worst scenario it could end up in a civil war and on the best side these radicals will have a future influence on our freedoms and lives. 2023/2024, will be pivotal years as to how our lives will be for the future.

There are some elements of the so called "woke" culture in the democratic party but most of the hysteria is caused by Fox News and GOP talking points about WOKE and cancel culture. Just like CRT, they create their own definition for what these words mean and then say over and over and over again that this is ruining America which inevitebly some people believe. When discussing the real meaning of these terms, few disagree with true actual sentiment but then take pieces of information they think will cause outrage and cry about WOKE and cancel culture all while having their own areas of woke/cancel culture for the things they believe in...banning books, threatening Disney, election deniers, etc. If you don't beieve in this version of the GOP then you were primaried until no moderate GOP lawmake is left. America and the world will never be like it was 25 or 50 years ago...we have to face up to the new challanges and work together instead of just using every excuse possible to rile up the GOP base that seems incapapble of either fact checking or even caring about the facts. It seems the GOPs only goal is to do nothing or cut taxes for rich corporations. I don't even recognize the GOP platform anymore...they would "CANCEL" Reagan, Bush or most other past Republican presidents because they aren't extreme enough and far enought to the right. It is easy to just watch mindless TV talking heads and use thier talking points, but that doesn't make it reality and it sure won't help Americal face the many challanges the current world presents. The GOP has become the fake fire you show abondoning all principles of a conservative that I grew up knowing...some Democrats as well, but treating others fairly and equally is not an attack on the GOP or America...in fact it is the very definition of Don't Tread On Me. I can't see how creating a ruckous at every school board meeting and pushing election deniers is going to improve America's situation. I guess the GOP would like a "fake" democracy like Hungry as long as they get their way...who cares about anyone else, it's all about me. This is not how it used to be and to blame it on Democrats only is putting on blinders to what has happened to the GOP. Maybe the GOP is the new third party b/c it is not the party of Reagan anymore.
