Klaus & Lucy:

Klaus and Lucy both relax differently. Their so different but so tightly bonded that they keep us entertained constantly. When Taylor died poor Lucy was really grieving and we knew the solution was to get another senior to help her over her major funk. We had been watching Klaus at the shelter and so we took Lucy to a meet and greet. Klaus sure got her out of her funk and us too. 

We only had Taylor for 6 weeks as he was senior and in pretty bad shape and we wanted to give him a loving home for what ever time he had left. In that short time he really made an inroad into our hearts. He was so happy for the time he was with us and really made an impression on Lucy. He brought out her mother instincts and they became close. Adopting seniors with disabilities is very hard to do. In order to adopt Taylor we had to make modifications to our home to accommodate his disabilities. We were so happy we could give him a loving home even though it was not enough time in our opinion. Taylor's time before he came to us was not a good life so he at least had 6 weeks of good life.
