Window Crashes In Our Past Home:

Two mountain chickadees in two days - wow.. We usually only get two a year. I think it may be the same bird who just craves attention. This little guy managed to fly off too. I brought him inside to keep him warm by the wood stove and then took him back out to the railing and he just kept looking inside like in the photo which told me he wanted to come back inside where it was warm. He looked me over real good when I was stroking his head and holding him by the wood stove so he could warm up. I think I now have a friend for life as he flew off just moments ago... We have some birds that will fly right up to me - as close as a foot away. I assume that it is ones I have helped over the years but I can't be certain.
