New Doors:

 

The top photo depicts our old sliding glass door that has been with the house for 45 years. The new doors that are manufactured nowadays are so much more energy efficient and the bottom photo shows our newly installed door. The sliding glass doors were wearing out (at least the handles and locks) and they were heavy and we really had to struggle to open and close them. The new doors are much easier to open and close. The repairman will finish the outside trim and installation today. 

It also makes it harder for people to see inside, plus we will not have to put up with annoying drafts coming in anymore.
