Another Project:

Living in a temporal rain forest we have a lot of rain and sometimes it is heavy going into the 4-6" range. As such our exposed wood has a tendency to rot out. We had a deck board rot out so today we took it out and replaced it with a new pressure treated board. TWhere are others that appear they may be leaning toward rot but are solid now so won't need  to be replaced in the near future.

When you get older like we are it takes two to get the job done. Those pressure treated boards are heavier than they used to be and those partially decayed boards take more muscle to get out. Rather than hammer all those nails in however I purchased a palm nailer to use with my pressure tank so that makes it easier and I have fewer bent nails.
