The Trail Camera Comes Through Again

 Fawn feeling its oats...above... Below this doe has been in a scrape and it looks like she may have gotten away from a mountain lion or bobcat.

 Above a herd of elk moving through, and below is what is a magnificent buck still in velvet.

The photo above is another doe that had a narrow escape from a mountain lion. The scratches tell the tale. We will have to be careful as these two does have been hanging around together and both have evidence of an encounter. One yearling was also with them and we haven't seen evidence of that young deer.
