The elk are still looking a little ragged with their coats but we find clumps of hair on the ground around this area. The mule deer are all looking pretty good. About 39 yards from where these photos were taken is a large muddy area where the deer, elk and bears like to roll in to get protection from the flies. It is where one of the springs on our property runs and they have made it into a place where they can get a mud bath.
